Equal Education ?

     African American youth today are at a disadvantage compared to mainstream America, when it comes  to getting a quality education. First alot of African American children are born to unwed mothers, teenage mothers and the fathers are not actively participating in their childrens lives. When a child is born the first teachers are its parents or more exactly it's mother and she might not be prepared to be a parent.

     A child has an innate desire to learn. A child is on a quest of discovery, this is an opportune time for parent to teach their children the fundamentals of academics, reading writing and arithmatic. If these basics could be instilled in the child prior to coming  to school I believe these children could at least excel at what is being offered as an education. Yes, inner city school lack the funds to compete with suburban school but shouldn't parent be accountable to their children and preparing them to be school students ?  Yes the way the system is set up our children are setup to fail, I consider this as implicit discrimination, anotheor form of slavery. Inner city school are nothing but plantations the produce  functional illiterates.

Before when can critize the system let master it first. Parents teach your children first
