Society everywhere around the world, race and ethnicity has been an issue since the early 1900s. For example, racial discrimination is happening in the business area. Also, this discrimination happens in neighborhoods where certain race wants to live with their own kind. In addition, certain race is kicking out other race by telling them they will lose everything and before it’s too late they will buy the house for cash. Furthermore, the other race agrees and sells the house, and then the other race that bought the house sells it for a higher market price.
In today society, people are more diverse in the suburbs and even in the poverty line neighborhoods, there is a diverse ethnicity. Schools between suburbs and the poverty line are almost still the same because suburban students has more opportunity since there are more things to experience from, when the poverty line schools has limit of supplies and can’t afford everything the school needs to give to the students. In addition the society is trying to take neighborhood schools and improve the education by putting more money into the district. Also, they try to make the rules of the school stricter for the students. Furthermore, the school district of the neighborhood schools that makes these changes see the affect on the students and how hard working some students became and gives reputation to the neighborhood.
Overall, the society is just trying to make equality to every race. Even still there are certain stereotypes such as Asians are smart in math, whites are rich, and blacks are around the poverty line, but that’s not true. Every race is determined by how you look at it when you are in their situation. Every Asian is not smart in math, some whites are not rich, and some blacks are certainly above the middle class line. Furthermore, the races in today society are growing and are changing how people use to think in the past. Such as living with the same race, which now people is living with different race everywhere.
